orest Chalet Resort is situated along the
Guruchay
River, 20 km north-west of Guba and two hours drive from Baku. Being the first foreign tourist investment in Azerbaijan,
Long
Forest
is the only resort giving the opportunity to explore Azerbaijan’s attractions whilst enjoying Western standards of accommodation, catering
and recreation.
With ten
air-conditioned timber chalets scattered throughout the forest and with a
central bar/restaurant offering a quality menu, Long
Forest provides the perfect escape from Baku. Residents are also able to relax in the sauna complex whilst the younger ones
enjoy the adventure playground. In addition to the sauna and steam-room
facilities the complex also contains conference facilities making Long Forest the ideal location for corporate needs and hospitality. Horse-riding, mountain

both hot and cold water, fire-places/heaters and a split air-conditioning
unit.

the route to Guba has many attractions such as the Chirag
Fortress,

ideal stepping stone to see local beauty spots. These include the Tangy Alty Waterfalls and the

at Atashkah. Other sites include a variety of ancient villages,

awarded a range of contracts which include holiday accommodation at Inchmarlo
Golf Club valued at £1.7million; Housing at Newmachar for Grampian Housing
Association value at £5.1 million; An extension and alterations to the Eye
Clinic at ARI for NHS Grampian valued at £ 0.3 million; An office and Warehouse
for MacLean Electrical at Altens valued at £3.2 million.
Deeside Timberframe opened a new
manufacturing unit near Stirling earlier this year to service the demand for
timber kits throughout Britain and have been successful in securing over £3.5m
of work stretching from Cromarty to Stoke on Trent. Contracts include 6
executive houses at Castle Gogar, Edinburgh valued at £650,000 and an £850,000
contract for 63 houses in Yorkshire and a Primary school in Tranent valued at £
600,000
Bancon Homes
released a £ 7 million development of 17
executive houses in Inverurie. They also released a £ 5.5 million scheme in
Banchory for 31 middle market houses and a £ 3 million development of 11
executive homes at the popular Hill of Banchory development.
