ABOUT BANCON DEVELOPMENTS
Bancon Developments act as the parent company for the Bancon Group of companies. The main purpose and focus is to generate business opportunities in Residential and Commercial Development, Construction, Timber Frame Supply for the subsidiaries within the Group.
Bancon Developments has a policy of seeking out opportunities for the Group in the Residential sector, but has ambitions to expand more into the Commercial and Industrial sectors.
We have adopted a long term approach with the evolving Draft Local Plans which mirrors the approach taken by both Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council and as set out in the recently approved Structure Plan.
These comprise developing opportunities both in Aberdeen City, and also the larger settlements which are within commuting distance of Aberdeen City. Within the established road and rail communication corridors stretching from Stonehaven in the South to Inverurie in the West and also including the ‘Energetica Corridor’ leading to the North.
Success with this strategy has already resulted in potential mixed use development opportunities in over 20 locations. Bancon have effective control over circa 4,000 acres of land with potential for significant residential development, and in addition, we have control of land with a variety of commercial, educational, healthcare and industrial opportunities.
Bancon Developments have recently finished constructing a seven storey 100 bedroom 4 star boutique style Hotel in Aberdeen City Centre.
